TERAZZA FC got off to a fine start in the

President 2 of the DST National Veteran

Football League Championship after

managing a 2-0 victory over Panaga

2000 at the Seria Sports Complex last

weekend.

A third minute strike from Ibrahim Noor

Haji Ujan and Md Fauzi Abd Rahman in the

80

th

minute sealed the win for Terazza who

lead Group ‘B’ as their reward with three

points.

Elsewhere, Jerudong Vet clinched a

4-3 win over Setia Bakti ‘B’ in a seven-

goal thriller at the Sungai Kebun Sports

Complex.

Jerudong had to come from behind after

Setia Bakti ‘B’ took a 2-0 lead before the

hour mark.

Mazlan Haji Mahadi converted an

11th minute penalty and Raman Panjang

doubled the lead in the 26

th

minute for

Setia Bakti.

However, Jerudong were handed a

lifeline after Setia conceded a penalty as

Zulkifli Tusin made no mistake from the

spot in the 42

Two goals from Mohd Kamranshah Haji

Lamat turned the game on its head in a

space of five minutes but Safuny Haji Sawal

helped his team draw level in the 62nd

minute.

But Haji Shahruddin Haji Abd Rahim

had other ideas for Terazza after

popping up with the winner in the 90

th

minute.

Jerudong Vet top Group ‘D’ in President
